A “Knit for Charity Day” has been scheduled for Thursday, September 11th, at Steven Be’s Yarn shop on the corner of 35th and Chicago. Knitters who like to knit and give their creations away meet a couple times a year at the yarn shop. We knit hats to hand out to schools, foodshelves, hospitals, and other social service agencies.Pack up your needles, yarn, and your favorite pattern…along with a healthy snack to share.
