1912 donated items have been distributed to over 30 agencies, schools, etc.

Distributions will continue as hats come in. As most Minnesotans know all too well, we still have at least a couple of months of winter ahead of us. Keep knitting and sending/dropping off!
Now it’s September 2023. Is this charity still active and accepting donations of knitted items?

ReplyDeleteYes, we are still operating. Most members don’t post much but are very active in person. About 15 of use meet monthly, even over the summer. Twice a year, there is a day of charity knitting for H4H at Steven Be’s yarn shop in Minneapolis. I also am very much involved in coordinating online, like here on Ravelry. And for the first time ever, we did some sorting in my basement last fall. We also have two very very active in-person coordinators who coordinate the sorting and distribution.
